Learning

Describe one habit that brings you joy.

During covid I began polishing my French, which was my favourite subject 60 years ago, at school. Progress was disappointing and after 2 online courses that were OK, I discovered a new, artificial intelligence generated course, straight out of California.

Firstly, I’m thrilled about the smart men and women who make it work and improve it weekly. Just imagine, in my seventies interacting with something that corrects me, challenges and chats with me. 60 years ago we had tatty paper, no illustrations, dry, dry dry stuff.

And the smart kids who deliver it to my Android so I can practice anywhere.

Secondly, I’m making real, measurable progress which is always fun. And if I wanted I could start on any European language.

We take so much for granted. Time to bow in reverence to the super smart men and women making our world such fun.

I’m not giving the name of my course, because you will think I’m sponsored but I’m not. But you can look through the tags below, or leave a message on the contact page of http://www.clivelap.com for details.
